Reflection Journal #3

Project #3 was a silhouette and lettering. The silhouette was like a collage within a cutout image. The images inside the cutout was suppose to show some relation to the person in the picture(cutout). The lettering was a letter tracing that went around the cutout. The text going around the cutout described what the cutout and the collage was about, it was basically 4-5 words describing everything.
The mask tool helped make the silhouette work because being in mask node helped to cut out a clean cut of our image. The images used to fill in my image reflected the person in the picture. Each picture was related to the person. To get the letters to trace around the cutout, I had to create a path which creates a path around the cutout so the text is written along the path. I was satisfied with my project to the point of it being acceptable because its something new for me and i feel as though I completed the task at hand.
